Is it this time already? Its been a long summer, and a busy one. Yet here we are again and in a flash its time for the next belt test. Worry not. If your attendance could have been better this summer, then read on

September Belt Test 2010 at the Macclesfield Kickboxing Academy

Its September and the Macclesfield Kickboxing academy is gearing up for the next grading. The classes are now fully focused to give you the chance to perfect everything your need to know for your test.

Well yes it has been a long summer, and yes some of us have been juggling child care, holidays, beer gardens and all the other things that go with the summer holidays. Now it comes around to grading time and we are feeling unprepared to say the least. Do I take the test?

Being successful in your martial arts classes at the Macclesfield Kickboxing Academy

Getting something more out of the martial arts classes at the Macclesfield Kickboxing Academy is all down to training just that little bit more smart. We know that attendence drops over the summer, and this is taken into account when we run the autumn belt testing.

If you want to feel more prepared there are a few simple steps you can take to make it happen.

  1. Train more often approaching grading
  2. Think about the moves when you have a moment, use the mental dojo in you head, it works.
  3. Spend a few seconds running through a combination when no ones looking, we all do it and regular brief attention is the way forwards when its coordination you are improving.
  4. Don't sit about before class, get in there and practice, corner a higher grade and get some top tips
  5. Spend some time after class canvassing for advice and try out a few moves that you think need some more work.
  6. Bribe your instructor.. hes only human.. used fivers are the norm..

If in doubt ask the boss

The academy has a policy of advising students who are borderline when it comes to potential success in the next test. If we think you are going to find it too challenging, we will tell you straight out, but we will not deny you the chance to prove us wrong. We have been known to be surprised by just how well a student can do when they pull out all the stops.
