How can i put it, once we move past Alexi Sayles guide, the next step in iconoclastic irreverence is Steve Odekerk's Kung Pow. Before we head into lampooning the whole action movie genre, lets have a look at the guy who made this movie.
Steve Odekerk click his name, and you'll see he's had his finger in a few pies. Director comedian, animator, actor etc.. and if you truly know why you are laughing, this film is pure genius.

If you dont find it funny well maybe the genre's not for you, or maybe, just maybe, you need to watch a few more ninja films first..
Of particular note are, the Mootrix scene, the Ventrilloquists, the Net, and Master Pain "again with the squeaky shoe"...Silly infectious irreverence from start to finish, with some pretty sublte visual jokes which could go un-noticed.
